"Life is unpredictable.

Learn to handle difficult situations in a more
positive way."

How are EAP and EAL different from other horse therapy programs?

  • We provide mental health treatment and personal growth and educational services, not physical therapy.
  • Our activities occur 100% on the ground, while interacting with our horses through unique
    experiential activities.
  • Reins of Change employs only experienced, highly trained and licensed mental health professionals.
  • Our equine specialists are experts in horse behavior and have mental health education as well.
  • We develop individualized programs for our clients, including private groups and organizations.
  • Reins of Change maintains the highest level of confidentiality and privacy.
  • We are proud to be the only group in Illinois to have staff who hold Basic and/or Advanced Certifications through EAGALA, the Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association (www.eagala.org).
  • We offer educational programs for students and professionals who want to learn more about EAGALA Model, EAP and EAL.
  • Now offering two locations and a mobile program to better serve our community needs!
