Learn to handle difficult situations in a more
positive way."
How are EAP and EAL different from other
horse therapy programs?
We provide mental health treatment and personal
growth and educational services, not physical therapy.
Our activities occur 100% on the ground, while
interacting with our horses through unique
experiential activities.
Reins of Change employs only experienced, highly
trained and licensed mental health professionals.
Our equine specialists are experts in horse behavior
and have mental health education as well.
We develop individualized programs for our clients,
including private groups and organizations.
Reins of Change maintains the highest level
of confidentiality and privacy.
We are proud to be the only group in Illinois to have
staff who hold Basic and/or Advanced Certifications
through EAGALA, the Equine Assisted Growth and
Learning Association (www.eagala.org).
We offer educational programs for students and
professionals who want to learn more about
EAGALA Model, EAP and EAL.
Now offering two locations and a mobile program to
better serve our community needs!
